The text o each is taken from a book of dogs from Victorian times describing  different breeds in a delightfully eccentric  manner -  'You may know a gentleman by his horse his hawk and his greyhound' ‘There has been as much nonsense written about this dog as on the subject of teetotalism’ etc.
